Care

CARING FOR TOE & TABI SOCKS

Through Tabio's production process, Toe Socks and Tabi Socks may have threads that stick out between the toes.
However, these threads are not defective; they strengthen the structure of the toe socks and help to keep the socks durable.

We advise leaving them as they are since cutting these threads may cause holes and weaken the integrity of the sock.

Drying

You can tumble-dry on low setting however, the best way to dry Tabio socks is air drying in the shade. Always follow the care instructions for each materials.

Washing at high water temperature or using a dryer may cause shrinkage so please avoid using a dryer and instead dry it in the shade.

Washing

BASICS ON HOW TO WASH TABIO SOCKS

Turning your socks inside-out protects them from friction, allowing them to last longer. You can find specific washing instructions on each product’s packaging.
Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm or cool water. Make sure to wash dark colours separately.
Please wash in a washing net using mild soap; no bleach or fabric softener.
Hand washing is also more kind to garments than machine washing. When washing in a machine, you can almost always wash colder and more gently than advised on the care label and this is also more kind to the garment and planet.

For lacy and delicate garment, we recommend washing the items in a washing net to prevent from getting caught in the door seal, hooks and zippers of other clothes.

HOW TO FOLD YOUR SOCKS

Folding the socks may not seem important however, if you don't look after the socks it can lead to over stretching, misshapen and less comfortable over time. Folding your socks properly will help extend their life and help you stay looking sharp.

So here are some tips on how to fold your socks to keep the socks in good condition and maximise your sock drawer’s space!

・Lay both socks on a flat surface, with one sock on top of the other.
・Grab both socks by the cuff, and fold them both over in half so that the cuffs are now on top of the toes.

*Always place the socks together and fold them in different parts, depending on the length of the sock.
