We incorporate innovative and natural fibres such as recycled PET, helping to give new life to post-consumer plastic waste, and recycled Lyocell which is incorporated into our sports socks and Washi, a soft, breathable fibre derived from sustainable wood sources.
Alongside these, we use organic cotton, grown without harmful chemicals, and premium Suvin Gold cotton, known for its exceptional softness and refined quality. Together, these materials create socks that are not only comfortable and durable, but also kinder to the planet.

Washi recycled socks are crafted using innovative fibres such as Lyocell Washi combined with recycled materials, creating a soft, breathable, and environmentally conscious sock.
Inspired by traditional washi paper and modern sustainable textile techniques, these socks offer a lightweight feel with a focus on reducing environmental impact while maintaining everyday comfort and durability.
Creation of washi
We produce ultra-thin, highly durable washi paper using pulp as the base material. The fine, lightweight nature of the paper determines the fineness of the yarn it is spun into, which in turn enhances the comfort of socks made from it.
Twisted Yarn
Extremely fine strips of washi paper, measuring just 1 mm in width, are carefully twisted together to form yarn. This precise cutting process, a hallmark of exceptional Japanese craftsmanship, ensures a consistently high-quality yarn, resulting in socks of superior quality and comfort.

The twisted washi paper is then dyed, wound onto cones, and treated much like traditional cotton or wool yarn before being knitted into socks. Washi socks are known for their distinctive texture, offering a subtle, natural roughness that sets them apart, they help prevent stuffiness, making them an ideal choice for warmer weather and summer wear.
